On March 31, Haisum’s CPC Committee Deputy Secretary and Company President Chen Rongrong, Chief Financial Officer and the Secretary of the Board of Directors Lin Lin, Vice President Chen Zhiming visited Changsha Company for research.
On the morning of the 31st March, Chen Rongrong and Lin Lin held conversations with the heads of the Production Departments and the Finance Departments to understand the relevant situation of the front-line production and operation.
In the afternoon, Chen Rongrong presided over a symposium and listened to the work report of Changsha Company. The representative team of Changsha Company led by the Chairman Xie Xianguo gave a comprehensive report on the recent work based on the implementation of the "14th Five-Year Plan", the deficiencies in the work of young cadres, the recent status and later ideas of major projects such as PVC and Pengsheng, the upgrading of chemical qualifications, and the promotion of related businesses. Members of the Changsha company team made supplementary speeches on the relevant situations of the industrial sector in charge.
After listening to the work report, Chen Zhiming pointed out that Haisum was adjusting its organizational structure, and Changsha Company must pay close attention to it and think deeply about how to keep up with the reform of the superior company. He also put forward specific requirements for speeding up the construction of a young cadre team to adapt to the company's long-term development, strengthening the supervision of subcontracting to prevent and dissolve risks, improving the standardization of design work to improve work efficiency, and strengthening the management and control of PVC projects.
Based on the situation learned from the interviews with cadres, Chen Rongrong emphasized three requirements for the next step: firstly, the company should focus on organizational change, resource allocation, business model, digital transformation, etc., conduct the “Brainstorming" themed on "where are we now", "what we need to solve" and "where are we going?" among all cadres and employees. Emancipate the mind and build consensus to solve the problems of being weak in professional scale accumulation, function management and control empowerment, and the inability to continue to move forward; secondly, the company should do a good job in pooling and planning human resources around the strategy, and relevant departments should prepare the "human resources balance sheet" in time, calculate the profit and loss of human resources investment, and provide reference to the company's digital transformation, organizational structure adjustment, cost reduction and efficiency improvement; thirdly, the company should break the inertial thinking, strengthen the professional match of the team, and speed up the construction of the younger cadre team.
