On the afternoon of May 25, China Haisum and Guangdong Guanhao High-Tech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Guanhao High-Tech) held a signing ceremony for the general contracting (EPC) project for the southern base specialty paper in Shanghai. This is another important achievement following the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement in December 2021, the signing of the EPC project for the relocation of a 300,000-ton white cardboard machine in October 2022, and the signing of the EPC for heating and power supply on May 10, 2023. It marks that the two sides will further cooperate closely to jointly create a benchmark for specialty paper and help the transformation of China's paper industry.

Under the witness of leaders from both sides, Liu Lixin, General Manager of Zhanjiang Guanhao, Zheng Wen, General Manager of China Haisum Shanghai Headquarters, and Liu Jinlong, General Manager of Sinolight Construction signed on behalf of the EPC consortium.
Xie Xianlong expressed his thanks and congratulations on the successful holding of the project signing ceremony. He stated that China Haisum is an important strategic partner of Guanhao High-Tech. Relying on their respective resources and technological advantages, the two sides has gained many landmark achievements in multi-level and multi-field cooperation. As a leader in the pulp and paper industry, China Haisum has firmly established its leading position in the industry with its profound technical foundation, innovative pioneering awareness, and lean operation management, providing strong support for the project construction of Guanhao High-Tech. It is hoped that through this cooperation, the two sides will further deepen their cooperative relationship, actively respond to the national "dual carbon" strategy, practice the development concept of intelligence and low carbon, innovate new cooperation models, seek new opportunities and create space for the paper industry, so as to promote the development of domestic high-end specialty paper industry.

He stated that China Haisum has provided more than 100 engineering services to Guanhao High-Tech and many enterprises under China Paper Industry Group over the years, establishing deep cooperative friendship. As an EPC consortium project focusing on design, this project requires effective integration of the internal design institute of China Haisum and the construction unit to form a strong project team. China Haisum has coordinated and used multiple supervision systems to ensure the orderly progress of the project.
Following the design concept of intelligence and low carbon, this project adopts collaborative design of all specialties and digital delivery and uses three-dimensional forward design to simulate construction organization schemes. It has formed the engineering information model of the entire life cycle through unified data standards, which lays the foundation for the building of smart factory. The project team will also strengthen management innovation, achieve full-process tracking and all-round supervision of on-site construction, and strive to build it into a lean management demonstration project and a high-quality project with administrative transparency.
After the completion and commissioning of this project, it will improve the quality of products such as thermal sublimation transfer paper and specialty packaging paper, helping Guanhao High-Tech to build a moderately effective and relevantly diversified high-end green industrial base.
