Hydrogen energy, as a new key to modern energy systems, is accelerating the low-carbonization in industry, construction, transportation and other industries. To further clarify the development path of engineering services in hydrogen energy industry to achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, on the afternoon of November 14, Chen Rongrong, Deputy Party Secretary and President of China Haisum, warmly welcomed the delegation led by Liu Haifeng, Member of Shanghai Municipal CPPCC, Deputy Dean of Institute of Science and Technology Development of ECUST, and Director of the National Energy Gasification Technology R&D Center. Both parties had an in-depth discussion on the development and utilization of hydrogen energy, technological and industrial innovation, and talent team construction.
During the meeting, the heads of the Headquarter's Brand and Marketing Center and the Technology R&D Center introduced the company's service model, innovative business, and advantages in engaging in hydrogen energy industry. Xu Jianliang, Associate Researcher at the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering of ECUST, focused on introducing the R&D platform, advantageous characteristics and industrial achievements in the field of clean and green energy.
Liu Haifeng introduced the scientific research and industrialization capabilities of ECUST. The School of Resources and Environmental Engineering has carried out high-level scientific research, technology development and engineering applications in areas such as pollutant reduction and resource utilization, and clean energy technologies. He hoped that China Haisum could fully leverage its advantages in engineering transformation to jointly conduct research on green and clean energy sources (including biomass and hydrogen energy), in order to lead to the implementation of more scientific research achievements and fulfill the social responsibilities of central enterprises and universities through concrete actions.
Chen Rongrong reviewed China Haisum's independent innovation process, from traditional light industry to digital delivery, intelligent operation, and intelligent manufacturing in the field of smart engineering services. East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) has strong research capabilities in the field of clean energy, and is highly compatible with China Haisum's businesses such as waste-to-energy, new lithium material and "dual carbon", and looks forward to strengthening communication between the two parties and the exploration of cooperation models in related industries, with hydrogen energy as the entry point, to contribute to the nation's "3060" and "dual carbon" goals.
Through in-depth discussions, the both parties reached preliminary cooperation intentions, and there is anticipation for comprehensive cooperation in production, education, and research in the future, which will contribute to "chemical industry + light industry" green transformation and upgrading.
